Are there any more Metropolitan Drinking Fountain and Cattle Trough Association cattle troughs in the London Borough of Hackney? If you know of any other cattle troughs in Hackney please send me details.
In May 1880 a 9ft 6in trough  was erected in Kenninghall Road, Clapton. The gift of Mr. Trotter.
On 7 November 1901 a 9ft 6in trough  was erected at the corner of Stoke Newington Common & Rectory Road. Presented by Mrs Banbury.
On 1 May 1922 a 6ft 6in trough  was erected in Amhurst Road by West Hackney church.
In January 1884 a 9ft 6in trough  was erected in Great Eastern Street, Shoreditch.
In May 1883 a 9ft 6in trough  was erected near Rosemary Branch Bridge, Shoreditch. The gift of “Sympathy”.
In December 1899 a 9ft 6in trough  was erected on the corner of Yorkton Street and Hackney Road. In memory of T.B.Beale erected by his daughter Lady Rosa Banbury. This trough was at Yorkton Street until at least the 1990's.
In August 1882 a 9ft 6in trough  was erected at the junction of Woodberry Down & Seven Sisters Road. This may have been relocated to the junction of Portland Road.
There may have been a trough on the corner of Chatsworth Road and Clifden Road, Clapton between the public convenience and the Clapton Park Tavern (known locally as the "Black House"). This trough may have been removed in 1970.
