Mrs. Braybrooke of Lillington Lodge, Eastbourne donated the funds for 7 troughs. 4 are extant but other troughs at Battle, Hampton Court and Haydon's Road, Wimbledon have been lost. Mrs. Braybrooke was a founder member of the Anti-Vivisection League and a fervent supporter of the RSPCA.
