CommentsOriginally by the old pump in High Street. The gift of Miss Drummond of Hove. Inscription: “In memory of Captain Drummond M.V.O and his daughter Evie. Friends to animals.” Captain Drummond was the Chief Constable of West Sussex Police between September 1879 and July 1912. Another trough with a Drummond inscripion can be found in Horsham.
