CommentsIn June 1905 three MDFCTA troughs, all with number [1687], were erected in Tewkesbury at various locations: Worcester Road near Ledbury Road; Tewkesbury & Brendon Road; Ashchurch Road. Total cost 138.3.11 paid for as follows: Sir J Dorrington 43.6.6. Mrs Ruddle 47.1.6 plus carriage 6.5.5. Per Arch Deacons Wife. Association 41.10.6. Although this trough lacks an MDFCTA inscription it was erected in the same year as the MDFCTA troughs and includes the name of one of the donors. Surely a private, non-MDFCTA trough wasn't also erected in Tewkesbury in the same year as the three MDFCTA troughs in the same town?
