CommentsIn June 1905 three MDFCTA troughs, all with number [1687], were erected in Tewkesbury at various locations: Worcester Road near Ledbury Road; Tewkesbury & Brendon Road; Ashchurch Road. Total cost £138.3.11 paid for as follows: Sir J Dorrington £43.6.6. Mrs Ruddle £47.1.6 plus carriage £6.5.5. Per Arch Deacons Wife. Association £41.10.6. Although this trough lacks an MDFCTA inscription it was erected in the same year as the MDFCTA troughs and includes the name of one of the donors. Surely a private, non-MDFCTA trough wasn't also erected in Tewkesbury in the same year as the three MDFCTA troughs in the same town?
