CommentsThe MDFCTA records for both the Bradford troughs are very confusing. They describe this trough as 12ft but the extant trough is definitely 9ft 6in. In June 1885 two MDFCTA troughs, with MDFCTA numbers [1016] and [1017], were erected in Romford Market on either side of a drinking fountain. This one has been moved to Bradford. The other trough from Romford Market is now outside Romford Town Hall.
