CommentsOriginal location at the junction of Whyteleafe Hill and Salmons Lane. Dismantled and stored in councils yard 20-June-1933. The gift of Miss Emily Evison of Brampton House Bexleyheath and Blazewood Whyteleaf at a cost of £116.1.0 in loving memory of her dearest friends. The trough was badly damaged during the war and the remains reinstated many years later in front of Caterham on the Hill library in Westway. This special polished red-granite trough is an example of the High Wycombe design. Other examples are in High Wycombe, Wisbech and Swindon Village.
