Comments | I can't match this trough with any in the MDFCTA records. It is not the original trough at Theobalds Road Station from 1916 which was destroyed in 1957. On 20 June 1957 the Cheshunt Urban District Council wrote to the MDFCTA explaining that on the 17th June-1957 the trough opposite Trinity Lane was struck by large motor vehicle damaged beyond repair. It was erected in 1917, they requested a replacement. On 24 June 1957 the MDFCTA replied and suggested there was a spare trough at Willesden and that Waltham Cross contact Willesden directly. Does anyone know where it was before being moved to its present location? |
