CommentsThe trough was originally at Binfield Road, Stockwell. The gift of Captain F.B.Bosanquet. In 1901 it was removed and re-erected at Sludley Rd. In January 1908 it was removed to the borough yard owing to accidents in the vicinity of Sludley Road. In 1909 it was re-erected outside the “Bedford Arms” PH, Clapham Road. In March-1917 it was removed from “Bedford Arms” to “the George”, Rushey Green. Catford. Finally, in 1983, it was moved from The George, Catford by Charlie Robson, the owner of the old British Rail stables.
