CommentsPaid for half by assoc and half by sums collected by “Peter” Miss Westerby's dog £44.0.0. Association. The trough was initially installed in Chesham Broadway, where the Town Pump had stood. The trough was used for providing water for cattle, horses & traction engines. Later, the trough was located at the Pound in Red Lion St, before being moved to the park at the northern end of the Rue de Houilles, where it is used as a flower bed.
