Comments | I'm not sure if this is an MDFCTA trough. It is the same size and design as an MDFCTA trough but lacks an MDFCTA inscription. I'm tentatively assigning it to MDFCTA number [1346] which was erected in 1896 on the Portsmouth Road, Kingston-upon-Thames, the cost of which was defrayed by a Mrs Sharpe, which agrees with the A.C.S in the inscription. Does anyone know the history and provenance of this trough? Who was "A.C.S"? |
