CommentsThis fountain is a reproduction of the original one installed in 1897. It was built based on pictures and information of the original that was installed in the park by the lake as part of the Heritage Lottery Fund refurbishment of the park carried out in 2005. The original fountain was unveiled on 1st July 1897 and was a gift made by Mr Edwin Jones at a cost of £1160-0-0.
