Comments | The gift of Mrs. Ware. This fountain, Hornsey No. 1, was originally erected in 1863, as MDFCTA number [0305] near Hornsey church. It was transferred to care of association July 1865. In February 1880 it was removed and re-erected as Hornsey No 2 as MDFCTA number [0706]. In April 1886 it was removed in consequence of alteration and in May 1886 it was re-erected as Hornsey No 3 as MDFCTA number [1053]. The fountain is adjacent to this cattle trough. |
